The Navig8 group may be on the verge of losing the largest third-party participant in its VL8 pool with talk growing in the market that Oman Shipping Co is to withdraw its 15 VLCCs.
The Oman Shipping fleet makes up more than one-third of VL8’s current complement of 43 VLCCs and is easily the largest contribution outside Gener8 Maritime, the New York company formed through a merger of General Maritime and Navig8 Crude Tankers.
