United Overseas Bank (UOB) has pounced on the 3,400-gross ton (gt) diving support vessel Swiber Atlantis (built 2010).
The bank filed a $12.9m mortgagee’s claim against the ship, and subsequently had it arrested at the end of last week at an offshore supply dock in Singapore.
The vessel, which shipping databases list as being owned by Swiber Holdings, arrived in Singapore in early December after completing a charter with the National Petroleum Construction Co of the United Arab Emirates.
