John Fredriksen-controlled Ship Finance International (SFL) is back at Daehan Shipbuilding for more newbuildings.
Informed sources say SFL has signed for two more 114,000-dwt long-range-two (LR2) products tankers at the South Korean yard for 2018 delivery, taking the total number of LR2s it has under construction there to four.
The latest order includes two option vessels.
SFL signed up for its earlier pair of LR2s at the end of 2015, a deal that included two options, which one newbuilding player believes have now been enforced.
