Repsol Sinopec took up contract options for 14 additional days on the 450-bed Safe Boreas (built 2015), which is working at Montrose A in the UK sector of the North Sea.
Oslo-listed Prosafe says further weekly options are attached at reduced day rates that are “consistent with market conditions”, which some analysts interpret to mean the unit is working at around break-even levels.
