VesselsValue says the ship is worth $2.4m, equivalent to demolition price. It is not due for special survey until October 2020 and the fact that it was built at a quality yard may imply the vessel gets sold for further trading.
Marfin has another two 1990s-built bulkers and, including the Olga Topic, its fleet comprises 12 trading bulkers built between 1995 and 2016 — handysize to supramax, all built in Japan.
