The Samla Midas (SM) Group liner company has taken over Hanjin Shipping’s long-term consecutive-voyage-contract (CVC) with S-Oil.
A source familiar with SM Line confirms the tanker move, adding that the Hanjin-chartered, 299,000-dwt FPMC C Orient (built 2012) would continue to transport cargoes for S-Oil. It is not clear whether the CVC deal, which is due to expire in early 2019, has been renegotiated.
