Sources say the Greek company is selling the Mitsui-built, 50,300-dwt Alithini (built 2001). It can be inspected at Jingjiang, China, this week and could possibly fetch $5m.
It means the fledgling company could be set for a nice piece of asset play with its first ship sale since being founded in October 2014 by brothers Aris and Stefanos Koropoulis. Astra bought the vessel as Falcon from Eagle Bulk in June last year for $3.3m.
