Low-key Greek owner British Bulkers Inc is using the firm bulker market to dispose of its oldest vessel.
Company sources confirm it is in the process of selling the Imabari-built, 28,600-dwt Lord Byron (built 2000) to an undisclosed buyer. The vessel is understood to have fetched $4.25m. VesselsValue estimates it to be worth $3.5m.
The Lord Byron was purchased as CS Savannah from Campbell Shipping for $9.5m
