BULKERS
Pacific International Lines (PIL) has sold the 180,000-dwt bulker Pacific Capella (built 2012). The Dalian-built ship went for $27m and has been taken back on charter for an undisclosed period and rate.
Conti of Germany is said to have sold the Jiangsu Hantong-built, 56,000-dwt bulker Aventurin (built 2012) for between $11m and $12m.
The Japanese-controlled, Oshima-built, 55,000-dwt bulker Sun Acapulco (built 2006) has been sold to a Greek buyer for close to $10m.
The Tsuneishi group has sold the Tsuneishi-built, 52,000-dwt bulker Tenshou Maru (built 2006) to Great Eastern Shipping of India for an undisclosed price.
