Greek bulker owner Kassian Maritime is set to sell a supramax bulker that, aged 11, is slightly older than average for the company.
The Mitsui-built, 56,000-dwt Marjatta P (built 2006) is currently loading at Ogishima, Japan, and has been in the Kassian fleet since new.
The vessel could fetch at least $9m in today’s market, whereas it was not worth much more than $5m to $6m one year ago.
