French classification group Bureau Veritas (BV) today launched a data platform in collaboration with Dassault Systemes that it claims is three years ahead of systems developed by its competitors.
BV’s Veristar AIM 3D system, developed by the technology arm of the Dassault aerospace group, is a collaborative platform allowing ship operators, designers, class and shipyards to share and upload data for three dimensional virtual models based on real assets.
