Maersk Supply Service’s new business concept to bundle packages for offshore clients has scored a series of contract successes fairly quickly, providing enough extra work so far for at least 20 ships from its 44-strong fleet.

With a fourth bundled contract revealed this week, the impact has been noticeable.

The Danish owner’s concept, dubbed “Integrated Solutions”, has helped mitigate a first-quarter loss of $22m, which was less than expected because of increased vessel utilisation, chief executive Steen S Karstensen says.
