The sale-and-purchase (S&P) market for bulkers is expected to spark as more Japanese owners seek offers for vessels, especially in the panamax and kamsarmax segments.

Japanese owners are often described as definite sellers that are quick to decide after having put tonnage on the market. This week, Japan’s Kambara Kisen is understood to have disposed of the Tsuneishi Zhoushan-built, 98,000-dwt Ten Jo Maru (built 2011).
