It seems likely the JJ Ugland companies, based in Grimstad, Norway, will emerge as the sole owner of the 40,000-dwt shuttle tanker Campos Transporter and holder of a charter party with Petrobras of Brazil.
A deal may be struck whereby Ugland buys troubled Danish shipowner Progress' shares in the joint-venture company Progress Ugland Ltd.
Ugland and the appointed Progress supervisor, attorney Michael Ziegler, have discussed the price on Progress' ownership interest.
