Bergvall moving on from Marcas

V Ships will move Marcas into its own supplies operation after Teekay's and World-Wide sold out.

Arvid Bergvall is leaving the Marine Contracting Association (Marcas) at the end of the year as a result of World-Wide Shipping and Teekay selling their 25% stakes to shipmanagement group V Ships.

After just over a year as chief executive of Marcas, Bergvall says he has achieved what he set out to do in setting strategy for the ship-supplies buying club and expanding its membership.
