A Hong Kong-based construction and investment company is taking a punt at the highly competitive Asian casino-cruise trade.
Macau Success has taken a 55% stake in a new venture that has acquired a ship from Hong Kong casino-cruise operator Kong Wing, paying $14m for the 9,800-gt Omar II (built 1974).
Macau gambling mogul Stanley Ho is also a partner. An unnamed third partner is believed to have connections with another established gambling-cruise operator.
