Britain's Appledore Shipbuilders has won another contract for a gas
carrier from a German owner.
Hamburg-based Bernhard Schulte has taken over an option for a 5,760-cbm
gas carrier from Sloman Neptun, which is building two similar ships at
the yard.
The contract is valued at about GBP 16m (USD 24.8m), with the vessel due
to be delivered in June 1998.
