Companies bidding to buy all or part of Australian state carrier ANL are
unlikely to learn the outcome of the process before September. They may
have to wait even longer if a general election is called before the
sell off is completed.
Some 14 parties are understood to have expressed interest in the
company's assets with several bidding to buy the whole concern. Bids
are currently being assessed and due diligence undertaken.
