Taiwan’s Wisdom Marine Lines has scored a string of at least six lengthy time charters with Western Bulk Carriers (WBC) and Pacific Basin (Pac Basin).
Information on rates was scarce as TradeWinds went to press but the deals are all understood to be medium to long term and involve newbuildings being delivered from various Japanese yards this year.
Hong Kong-based Pac Basin has taken two Imabari-built, 28,000-dwt handymaxes from the Taiwanese owner.
