Taiwanese shipowner Nobu Su is said to have launched an effort to gain control of Texas drillship and rig owner Vantage Drilling, where he has been an embattled shareholder.
Vantage Drilling’s lawyers allege that Nobu may be seeking to forge a voting trust with other shareholders to group together more than 50% of the company’s shares, replace management and force the company to dismiss a lawsuit filed against the Today Makes Tomorrow (TMT) boss.
