German owner FH Bertling has cancelled two of three kamsarmax bulkers it had on order at Wuhu Xinlian Shipbuilding in China due to technical problems.
The 82,000-dwt ships were reportedly booked in June 2010 for $34m each with delivery in 2012.
Wuhu now appears to be trying to sell the first ship in the series, Hull No W1021.
Some brokers say it has gone to John Fredriksen’s Golden Ocean Group for $23.5m.
