Profit margins, however, are set to come under presure as it takes delivery of 11 gas carriers bought from Maersk Tankers last year for $470m.
Six of them are fully refrigerated ships already in the fleet, while the other five semi-refrigerated vessels will be taken over this year.
Navigator in the first quarter took delivery of three fully refrigerated ships from Maersk and they earned an average of $512,000 per month.
