A company executive confirms it is paying $21m for the 281,000-dwt Ryuohsan (built 2000), which is due for special survey in November 2015.
This is the second VLCC it has bought from MOL within a month. In May, it was said to have bought the 300,000-dwt Ibukisan (built 2000), which was due for drydocking, for $22.5m.
Polembros bought another MOL VLCC, the 300,000-dwt Ikomasan (built 2000), for $27.3m
