Speculation is mounting that if Star Air fails to hold on to a key freight contract with parcel giant UPS, then it will be the next business to be hived off by its owner, AP Moller-Maersk.
There has also been plenty of gossip about Denmark’s biggest company disposing of its 37.5% holding in Norwegian-based car carrier firm Hoegh Autoliners.
And last week, AP Moller completed plans to dispose of its 31% holding in Danish shortsea operator DFDS.
