Norwegian shipowner John Fredriksen continues to boost his fleet of bulkers with newbuildings.
Frontline 2012 has signed up for two 180,000-dwt units at privately-owned New Times Shipbuilding in China, with an option for two more.
The firm vessels are set for delivery at the end of 2015 and early 2016. They are believed to be costing around $50m each.
TradeWinds has previously reported that Frontline 2012 has orders for up to 30 capesizes at different shipyards.
