The fertiliser and chemicals company is a considerable charterer of gas carriers and for some time has been in the market to take ships of around 20,000 cbm on period deals.
But TradeWinds is told that the company is in the process of signing a deal with Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) in South Korea for two 38,000-cbm LPG carriers for delivery in 2016.
