Densay Shipping is said to have booked a pair of 64,000-dwt bulkers at China’s CSC Jinling Shipyard, with deliveries slated for August 2016 and January 2017, respectively. No price has been attached to the order.
Densay head Tayfun Gunerhan did not respond to TradeWinds’ requests to confirm the information.
In May 2012, Densay was also linked to an order at Jinling, on that occasion for up to four 82,000-dwt bulkers, with two firm units for delivery at the end of 2013 and early this year, plus two options.
