Representatives from three shipowners slipped onto the DSME stand at the Gastech meeting in South Korea this week to sign a letter of intent (LOI) covering 15 icebreaking LNG carriers for the Yamal LNG project.
Eagle-eyed industry watchers say the meeting took place between Yamal and Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), SCF Group (Sovcomflot) and Teekay at 9.30am on Wednesday near Seoul with DSME, which is sitting on the berths for the ships, providing the private meeting room and playing host.
