China’s embattled HNA Group is planning to break new ground in Australian maritime law with a suit for wrongful arrest against former client Shagang Shipping.

Legal experts say there is technically no such thing as a wrongful arrest action under Australian maritime law but nothing to prevent such a lawsuit, either.
