BG Group is expected to sign up for four firm LNG carrier newbuildings at China’s Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) in June.
Industry sources say BG, which signed a letter of intent for two 174,000-cbm LNG carriers with an option on a second pair late last year, was due to ink the order at the end of this month but the date got pushed back.
