“There was never a doubt that he wanted to become a shipowner and eventually our paths had to split. He had his ideas, I had mine, and it was difficult to share in the long run,” Roed said. “I think early on, I already saw his potential. He had enormous ambitions.”
Roed describes Fredriksen as a “strange boy” but not in a negative sense.
