Singapore’s shipping community was out in force as Grindrod Shipping celebrated its 10th year in the city-state.
The locally based shipowner once again chose the historic Singapore Cricket Club as the venue for its popular annual party, which attracted more than 200 guests.
Martyn Wade, chief executive of Grindrod Shipping, kicked off the celebrations with a short speech.
The cricket club staff did such a good job of supplying guests with an endless flow of wine and beer as they enjoyed the pleasant views over the Padang that they had a hard time enticing them into the adjacent room for the sumptuous buffet.
