South African Breweries (SAB) has struck a settlement deal with a ro-ro owner on the eve of a trial over a damaged malt cargo, say sources with knowledge of the dispute.
The agreement brings to an end years of litigation in the High Court of South Africa in Durban, in addition to halting recently launched legal wranglings in New York.
