George Economou-backed TMS Cardiff Gas has thrown its hat into the ring alongside four already shortlisted shipowners vying to build LNG carriers for Gazprom Marketing & Trading (GM&T).
TradeWinds understands that Cardiff Marine’s gas-shipping arm is a late entry to the shortlist of pre-qualified owners that currently includes Greece’s Dynagas, SCF Group (Sovcomflot) of Russia, Canadian-headquartered Teekay LNG and Swedish owner Stena LNG.
