Skaugen has gone to Norwegian police with allegations against MAN Diesel & Turbo SE and its Norwegian subsidiary, MAN Diesel & Turbo Norge AS. He claims that manipulation of records has been ongoing for 10 years and that IM Skaugen had suffered losses amounting to NOK 250m ($41.7m) as a consequence.
Jan-Dietrich Muller, who is responsible for communications at MAN, declines to comment to Norwegian daily Dagens Naeringsliv specifically on either Skaugen’s claims or his notifying the police.
