Maestra Navegacao e Logistica has finally exited the liner stage.
The Brazilian cabotage operator has sold four feederships after closing its cabotage services along the country’s coast at the end of last year.
As TradeWinds has reported, the 1,600-teu Maestra Pacifico and Maestra Caribe (both built 1994), 1,300-teu Maestra Atlantico and 1,200-teu Maestra Mediterraneo (both built 1996) have been sold “as is” in Brazil for $323 per ldt.
