The Hamburg-based owner has gone to Hakodate Dock Co for another handysize, taking to its orderbook at the yard to three. It is unclear whether the latest order is an option.
A source close to the deal confirms the order for 34,000-dwt vessel, adding that Blumethal is set to take delivery of it in late 2017. The company’s earlier two newbuildings, which were booked three months ago, are slated for delivery in May and August 2017.
