Another FreeSeas vessel has emerged under arrest while a seizure in Panama drags on for more than three months.
The 24,300-dwt Free Hero (built 1995) has been under arrest since early August by the Calcutta High Court in India after a request from bunker supplier Valhalla Marine, according to court records. Vessel tracking data shows the handysize bulker remains anchored off Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh state.
