Last week, the Military Sealift Command (MSC) cancelled the charter of up to 59 months for the 1,730-teu boxship Capt David I Lyon (ex-Positano, built 1996) to carry ammunition and other cargoes for the US Air Force.
The contract was to bring the Miami shipowner, a new entrant to the US-flag market, $43.8m
