A frenzy of oars wielded by teams from owners, brokers, insurers and others thrashed along the historic waters of the Millwall Outer Dock in blazing late summer sunshine in London’s Docklands to fight out a day of Chinese-style dragon boat racing.
In just a few hours, the 24 teams raised at least £113,000 ($184,447) for shipping’s OSCAR fund for the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
