Angola LNG shareholder Chevron has acknowledged design issues at the plant in the past few days, which it says are being fixed. Officially, Angola LNG’s shareholders have now said the liquefaction facility is due to be back in operation from the middle of next year.
But Reuters quotes insiders as saying plant reconstruction work could last into 2016. It began production last year but was shut down in April after a string of incidents.
