New information on the principles of LNG marine bunkering have been drawn up by the Society for Gas as a Marine Fuel (SGMF).

London-based industry body SGMF, which is celebrating its first anniversary this week, is putting the new document online in October.

SGMF general manager Mark Bell tells TradeWinds that the document focuses on the bunkering supply operation between the delivery unit — whether it is a truck or a ship — and the receiving vessel, or “from flange to flange”, as he describes it.
