A maritime forum to fight cyber crime is set to be formed by up to 20 shipping lines and port terminal operators.
The idea is one of several proposals in a white paper drawn up by shipping analyst Lars Jensen of Copenhagen-based CyberKeel. He believes that an industry-wide cyber security organisation is needed because most shipping companies are reluctant to release details of security breaches.
