The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) has appointed one of the most famous names in tanker shipping to head up its Seafarers’ Trust.
Kimberly Karlshoej, daughter of Teekay Corp founder Torben Karlshoej, started as head of the trust this month.
The appointment comes amid employers’ concerns over how ITF Welfare Fund contributions, some of which end up with the charity, are spent.
