Copenhagen-headquartered Lauritzen Bulkers is withdrawing further from the capesize market after selling a second unit within a month.
Company president Peter Borup confirms that the Hanjin-built, 179,000-dwt Cassiopeia Bulker (built 2011) has been sold.
Greece’s Alpha Tankers & Freighters has been linked to the deal as a possible buyer but company executives could not be reached for comment before TradeWinds went to press.
