Teekay Tankers plans to make further additions to its chartered-in fleet in an effort to boost exposure to the spot market.
The strategy by the New York-listed owner, a spin-off of Vancouver-based tanker giant Teekay Corp, follows on from the addition of two aframaxes to the chartered-in fleet last month. The company has added a total of 10 chartered-in ships this year.
