Sabic in UK LNG marine fuelling move

Wouter Vermijs, Saudi Arabia Basic Industries (Sabic) director of supply chain for chemicals in Europe, tells TradeWinds that his company will be working with Simon Storage, Associated British Ports (ABP) and Dutch shipowner Anthony Veder on the initiative.

“The idea is to stimulate and to study the feasibility of setting up LNG bunkering and storage operations across the east coast of the UK,” he said.
