And so it seemed when the Association of Banking and Financial executives of Hellenic Shipping made their annual award to Dagfinn Lunde, former head of shipping for DVB Bank, for his key role in the financing of Greek shipping.
Addressing an audience packed with top-line shipowners — including Angeliki Frangou; Nikolas Tsakos; John Coustas; Michael Bodouroglou; and father and son Dimitris and Stavros Tsolakis from Thessaloniki to name just a few — the association’s general secretary, George Xiradakis, lauded Lunde’s “vital and ongoing support of Greek shipping through various financing products covering all Greek shipping sectors”.
