The Norwegian owner produced stellar income in the fourth quarter on the way to a profit of $17m for the period.
Aurora chief executive Borge Johansen told TradeWinds: “We are pleased that we managed to secure good rates and it is important for us to maintain this level of earnings. We did not expect to overpass the industry average but it was kind of a special quarter.”
