Industry sources say the 150,900-cbm Explorer (built 2008) is due to leave Drydocks World in mid-April and go on station at the Dubai Supply Authority facility at Jebel Ali. The vessel was the first to be gassed-up and cooled down by the terminal in an operation that took place last year.

The arrival of Explorer will be co-ordinated with the departure of Dusup’s existing FSRU Golar Freeze, which is due to head off for a scheduled drydocking.
